Recommendations for Ph. D programs?

Hi everyone,
I'm a Junior Neuroscience student at UMich and I want to start applying to Ph. D programs relatively soon. I'm interested in aging research, and have selected the following schools to apply to:

-Weill Grad Sch Med Sci-Physiology, Biophysics & Systems Bio
-Washington University in St. Louis
-UWashington
-Wisconsin-Madison
-Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory
-UMichigan PIBS
-Northwestern
-Sackler School of Graduate BM Sciences

And as a qualifier, I currently only have a 3.06 GPA, but I do have a publication at PLoS Genetics (co-author, not first) and 3 years of research experience doing independent research.

Are these good schools to apply to? Or do you have any suggestions?

You may want to add some MS programs to your list, just in case, given your lowish GPA.

Add in a few less competitive schools - It’s tricky with grad school because EVERY school is competitive, but there should be a few in your field that may be more willing to seriously consider you with your gpa. Again, it’s grad school, so it’s basically a crap shoot and you might get into every school on this list, too.
