<p>No…they only want a letter from the Counselor if something on the application needs to be explained. Otherwise, they won’t look at either. They do want information for people they may contact in regard to ECs, but that’s on the app.</p>
<p>admission officer said clearly that “we do not read recommendation letters!”</p>
<p>Those who assemble your application in to a computer file differ from those who actually read and make decisions on your application.</p>
<p>So if the first person does not enter it in to the computer, then even the fact that you tried will not be known by the admissions official who reads and makes the decision on your application.</p>
