Recommendations

Hi!
I am looking for recommendations (I know its a little late) I am currently a senior in high school and am finalizing my college list, my common app is almost done, so I am doing okay application wise but am not to sure on my list.
A little bit about me; I am currently studying abroad on yes abroad and am also a nsliy alumni, I would like to go to a women’s college and will apply for wellesly, Mount Holyoke and Barnard so far. I have a 3.9 GPA and a 27 ACT (Only took it once). I plan on majoring in international relations or political science.
I am from Washington state but am open to out of state schools.
Currently this is my list
Mount Holyoke
Barnard
Wellesly
University of Hawaii
GW
DKU
I am mainly looking for a good school with a international’s relations major, political science and strong study abroad. I would prefer to go somewhere where there is a winter and a smaller school though am not opposed to larger ones. The “rank” of the school doesn’t matter.

I’m not exactly sure which additional colleges to recommend based on your criteria — Puget Sound, Lewis & Clark, American? — but Mt. Holyoke seems perfect for you.

Is the ACT within the schools 25th and 75th percentiles?

No, though holyoke does not require test scores

My GPA is a 3.9 and I am looking for safety schools

DKU ???

Along with the suggestions in reply #1, see if you like any from Agnes Scott, Elon, Dickinson, Denison, Connecticut College, Wheaton (MA). A few of these colleges are quite competitive for admission, but they would give you a spectrum to consider. The University of Richmond — though highly selective — offers Westhampton College, which maintains some formal aspects of a women’s college; William Smith offers a similar environment as part of HWS.

DKU could be Duke Kunshan?
