Nice :D
(10 char)

It’s also funny that this pledge is only 5 million larger than the last record-setting pledge given to Michigan by Stephen Ross just last year! The gift is nice, but 5 more million dollars?!!?!? I’m sure Ross feels insulted by the donation….

It's up to Ross to re-up, then.

Aren't you kids going to protest this "tainted philanthropy" or something?

^^dont worry, byerly will be along for that

No, I'm not going to "protest" it.

I personally think that Stanford, with its 12 or so billion dollar endowment, needs this money a lot less than a lot of other causes and schools, but it's good nonetheless.

i agree, the money should go to harvard.

I don't know if Stanford needs the money "a lot less" than a lot of other "schools."

Stanford wants to build some new buildings. They want to remain the leader in business education. To do that requires a lot of money. Few, if any schools, have the kinds of ambition that Stanford does for the next 20 years, with SEQ2, the new GSB complex, the Munger complex, the new law school dorm, etc.
