The sports teams are CMS, and I know the coaches have influence over the decisions at Claremont, do they have any swap at Mudd?
I meant sway, not swap
I know there are students at HMC who have said that sports were their “hook” that helped their application stand out, so I suspect the coaches’ input is considered as one factor among many. Having said that, my impression is that the coaches can’t offer or guarantee admission, and the athlete still needs to be very qualified.
