This seems like such an antiquated and unnecessary system!! Really?

just wondering, did anyone else get a tracking notification?

Called the admissions office but they’re closed. And they still haven’t sent out the emails!

Nothing for me in the my shipments section…

Any internationals with the emails? They should be coming right around this time.

In Seoul Korea (10:20 am April 2nd!) - international applicant - I still haven’t received any email

I get that they’re trying to build suspense and assemble great acceptance packages, but this system of notifications causes undue stress, makes it difficult to plan travel (especially on a limited budget), and could really benefit from just a little more transparency (like releasing a specific time for emails to international applicants). I’m sure that if I get accepted, all this stress would make receiving the decision more exciting, but do they really need to put everyone through this?

WHOEVER FIGURED OUT THE FEDEX TRACKING IS A GENIUS!!! It says my package is on its way from reed college (:

To the internationals still waiting: I got my ED acceptance e-mail in about 40 minutes from now

Thank you so much for the information @Lescieux
Somehow I feel slightly more relieved now that I know that they’ve fixed a time

@doesitmatter123 I wouldn’t say it was fixed but they should be getting there around that time. Mine was sent at 11:11 PM Buenos Aires time

Just got a notification of a 2 lbs package being shipped to me from Reed!!

Those who got a notification of an incoming paclage- where are you from?

Did you setup text/email notification? Or did it just appear in the FedEx website for you?

Does your FedEx notification say when it was first scanned into the Fedex System? My address won’t verify on Fex even though it is a valid address.

I would also like to know what time it was scanned in and where you are from…I see nothing : (

@pmdreyer For the delivery manager section, you need to have lived at your current address for at least a year and have had packages shipped with FedEx under that address. I was having the same issue, but I figured out that I needed to use my dad’s first name because he’s the one getting FedEx packages. Afterwards I added my own first name as a nickname/alternate spelling.

Still no inbound packages for me, though. I’m going to check again tomorrow, but if nothing’s showing by then I’m going to take it as a rejection unless I hear otherwise.

Is the shipment info via ‘FedEx InSight’?

@usualhopeful Where do you live?

@marhabaaa New Hampshire. Someone from New Jersey already got a notification, so I’m guessing it’s not being updated by region.
(Although I don’t think my lack of information can be used as evidence, because I suspect the reason there’s no shipments for me is that there’s no FedEx label and I’m getting a thin envelope through USPS.)
