@clueless96 I am an international student and still haven’t received my email, what do you think this means?
@Gmicnp @cristina1225 I am also an international and I still haven’t received an e-mail. It’s good to know I’m not the only one, though.
The international desicions are probably being sent out in waves, from what I remember it’s like last year. Don’t just loose hope yet!!
Accepted!
@Myblues Congratulations!! Are you an international student?
@Myblues When did you receive the email?
I’m an international and still haven’t received the email. Friend got a rejection in the morning
Can’t login to the bannerselfservice. Please help me out. What is the order for the birth date.
@pobednik191 its m/d/y but the decision only comes by mail, not on the portal
@lolaandgee. Thanks. im trying to access the financial aid decision. any ideas?
There’s a seperate portal http://bannerweb.reed.edu/ it doesn’t need dob etc. They’ll send a pin to accepted students.
Okkk…thanks.
Stretches Woke up to the sound of an email notification on my device. An email, from Reed, “Admissions Information”.
They must be informing me that the decisions have been sent?
Hah. No, it turns out that the decision was in that very email. I won’t put you through further anticipation as we all have been through. My hearts heavy in saying, I was rejected. In an alternate universe this comment would be going down so differently, I’m even imagining it.
Thank you all for being here on this thread, soon we find out the decisions of those waiting at home, and I’ll anxiously be waiting too and hoping the best for you all. As I’ve stated in the beginning of this thread, my main objective is to go to college. That will happen, as I’ve been accepted to my state school. In any case, Reed has earned a special place in my heart and while there’s a part of me agonizing over what more could I have possibly done, another part is at peace for what comes in Fall.
Thank you all.
@AGoodFloridian thats a real shame you seemed really excited for reed, but worry not because college doesn’t define who you are and you make the experience for yourself
You know… It’s funny- because what I’ve learned throughout my few years in life is that I tend to excel, modestly, wherever I’m put. Fate has a way of surprising us, it has for me. Nothing stops me from kicking ass in my first semesters at FSU, and then transferring to Reed. I won’t plan that because things change when your feet are on campus, but it’s a possibility.
But you know what got me when I saw “we were unable to offer you admissions”? Not the fact that I wouldn’t be attending Reed, but the fact that I wouldn’t be meeting the amazing friends I made throughout the months leading to this day. One in particular, and she knows who she is.(Silently observing this thread.) Friends are what pulled me through life, and saved mine countless times. If there’s anything of advice I want to leave here is… TRY your absolute hardest to make plenty of friends from that start. They will guide you, and you will guide them.
That’s exactly what inspired me to apply to reed and therefore it’s my number one choice. I want to meet the amazing people that reed attracts and if I don’t get it now, you can bet I’m applying again as a transfer
That’s the spirit, @Sherruby . May good news come your way this week, pal.
I wish they would hurry up though. They said 1 April and it’s already 3pm on 2 April here.
