Reed College | Class of 2020 RD | Results & Discussion

@AGoodFloridian Did you not apply to New College of Florida? I went there many years ago and it was the best for me. Like many of my classmates I got into an Ivy for grad school - with a full ride. The alumni FB says they are still considering highly qualified applicants - it’s the only state school that is remotely like Reed, and it’s a beautiful spot on top of it all! The sailing club, etc., etc. Good luck wherever you find yourself.

@lolaandgee i’m in the same position as you! I dont have too much hope left but i still check my email a lot lol

@cristina1225 Are you from Romania?

@Luiza123 yes haha

@cristina1225 I’m from Romania too and I’m still waiting for an email :))

@Luiza123 did you get in other schools if you dont mind me asking :slight_smile:

@cristina1225 I got into Wooster, Hanover and Kalamazoo. Waitlisted by Harvard, Kenyon, Grinnell and Whitman. How about you? :slight_smile:

that fedex delivery thing was quite an interesting find! very innovative. whoever figured that out will go far in life.

Wooster is an amazing school Luiza! It’s in Ohio, but the campus is beautiful and the student life is fun!

@hiker2013 I would really like to attend Wooster. If I don’t get a better scholarship from Reed, I will go Wooster. Although I was looking for a full ride, they offered me over 30k. I guess that’s pretty good compared to what I got from other schools …

Okay…does anybody know for sure that if a package doesn’t show up on your FedEx Delivery Manager, you’re rejected? Any specificity/information would be appreciated.

who knows tbh. Btw nothing in the mail today :stuck_out_tongue:

Accepted! International student, SAT: 2030
Also accepted to: NYU, Cal Poly SLO, UC Davis, Irvine, Riverside, Occidental
Wait listed: UCLA
Rejected: Purdue, UCSD, UCSB (what)

I still haven’t received my decision. Should I send them an email at this point?
I’m a Ghanaian International applicant

@4rmGHtoJHU An email wouldn’t hurt

In case anyone was curious, I’m a Canadian citizen in need of FA and I got in with a 33 ACT (34 superscore). To all the other internationals: I’m rooting for you. Please don’t be too hard on yourself, keep in mind you’re competing with intelligent, driven students from countries all over the world for a limited number of spots.

^ And that Reed is trying to craft a diverse class of a majority of outliers (as former President Diver once said).

@4rmGHtoJHU I am a Zimbabwean applicant, nothing in my email too.

Any US get decisions in the mail yet? I live in So Cal and still no reply yet

Arizona here and still no decision
