Reed vs. NYU

So I've been accepted at both Reed College in Oregon and NYU and I can't decide for the life of me which one to choose.

NYU: I love New York City, this could either be wonderful for college or prove to be a distraction. I did the Columbia summer program last year and loved it so I'm thinking NYU might be similar. I'm not sure what I want to do and if I want to double major or not so a liberal arts school might be better, however, I am admitted into the liberal studies program so I'll be doing the same type of core as at Reed in small class sizes. Also the internships would be unparalleled.

Reed: Academically I feel like Reed could bring me anywhere. I know that it has a killer reputation in academic circles and is practically a ticket to grad school. I'm worried about the thesis and other academic hurdles however. Since I don't really know what I want to do yet, I'm not quite sure reed is right for me. If I go to Reed I want to be passionate about it (since I can't really double major with the thesis).

Help!

Many people double major at Reed so that shouldn’t be an issue. Portland is also a wonderful city (though different). The question is what would each cost? Reed has excellent FA, NYU not so much.
