@Anonymous1418 I got a W9, I’m pretty sure. Not sure what the difference is.
@mouse12 Sorry, I got a W9 form as well. Just trying to figure out if they gave everyone the same forms.
@Anonymous1418 I’d imagine so. Finalists still receive the scholar awards, so I think everyone winds up filing the paperwork for those, regardless of their ultimate status.
Good luck to y’all, by the way.
@mouse12 Yeah, that does sound reasonable.
Good luck everyone! And remember, it’s still quite an accomplishment to make it this far!
do you guys know what time we are supposed to find out about finalists on Tuesday? if we make it we get a phone call, and if we don’t, I think we get an email correct?
@colorfulhuman I think traditionally winners are called the day before public release. I’m assuming Regeneron will call because Intel called.
so basically the winners find out tomorrow? okay that makes me even more nervous 0.0 @anonymous1418
Hey guys did they also EMAIL last year instead of a phone call the day before for some people?
@colorfulhuman Yeah, I know it’s so stressful!
@grundeis They emailed rather than called for some people?
I don’t know I thought I just heard that somewhere lol
Oh. I’m sure all finalists get called.
Does anyone know when the calls will be sent?
@Anonymous1418 my brother was a finalist a couple years back and he got the call right before 5 apparently
@colorfulhuman Alright thanks! And that was EST?
@Anonymous1418 your welcome:) it was 5pm central
@colorfulhuman Ahh, that’s only a few hours away!
@Anonymous1418 yesss ahhhhh so nervous! Do you have any idea if the number will have a caller id or not? Im being extremely paranoid rn and someone just called me with a no caller id
@colorfulhuman good luck!! I am fairly sure it won’t have caller id
@colorfulhuman I think it will because on the STS video, someone said they saw the area code for Washington and that’s how they knew.
