Hi, I know this already happened but I just found this and I am interested. Can anyone specifically say how difficult it is to advance in this competition? The internet says âhighly competitiveâ but I am trying to gauge if I would even have a chance if I were to put in all of the work to compete.

I didnât expect to qualify as a scholar (top 300) at all so I would go for it. Make sure your essays are good (try to sell a vision about your project) and make your research report compelling. Donât do anything last minute.

Insert Name Here: I was honored to be chosen as a top 40 finalist this year. I would say make sure your research has an impact and write creative essays. I had a typo in the first word of my essay and thought I was out of the game, so I would say that they are pretty lenient. Every kid is smart and has great research. But what makes you special? How do you approach science? Focus on that!
Today a regeneron rep came to the school and made a formal presentation of the scholar certificate. He also gave a banner for the school. It was pretty cool.
does anyone know when we will receive our check $2,000 award?
