I have registered to do the ACT writing but didn’t do it due to a lack of time. I just spend all my writing time on the multiple choice questions because I am more worried about that for college except the essay. The timing was much different that I did not expect like the proctor does not call time after a section was done. I thought the proctor would tell time after every section on the ACT like they do on the SAT. I had extended time as well and used the essay extended time on the multiple choice basically. I have time and a half extended time. How would this affect my scores since I did not do the essay like I was supposed to? I know I got a zero on the essay but if I sent my scores to colleges with a 0 score, would that matter a lot? Should I cancel my scores because I think I did something that was unfair of the other students in the class. I just REALLY needed that much time to do my reading and the science section since these problems are pretty tough on there. I timing was not something I expected on the test. I thought the proctor called time after each section but I got all the multiple choice problems done. I honestly just hate timing on the ACT and do not plan to take the test again. I cannot read and comprehend at a fast pace. I am sucky with english reading comprehension.
