Yep, i fee ur pain people. Got rejected from Gtown, Duke, Berkeley resently. Cant wait to see whats coming next. Everyone thinks it now probably: was all this time and nerves that we wasted staying up late to finish HW worth it? now lets go figure out how to transfer universities next year ■■■

For anyone who is wondering, I got rejected by G-town, Brown, Hopkins, and UVA and waitlisted at Bucknell, BC, and Tufts but got into Cornell :)

i got rejected from georgetown too. i also have no confidence left and am a shadow of my former self. cornell is my last hope. either everything will be ok, or my life will beign a downwards spiral. i want this so bad!!!

Best of luck to all of you, but really, don’t fret too much before reading your Cornell decision and don’t think that one or two rejections elsewhere definitely means you didn’t get in! I myself was rejected from the University of Florida (Yes, my first reaction was “Wow, REALLY?” too) but am now a happy Cornellian. :)

Okay, my decisions from JHU hasn’t come in yet. How do you guys know??

…I feel the same way as everyone on this thread. We all want it so bad.

If I don’t get in, I don’t know how I’ll get over it.

Waitlisted at Uchicago and WUSTL. Rejected at NU. In at BC and Bucknell. I’m giving myself a 15% chance of getting into 1 of 4 of the ivies that i applied to.

I was waitlisted at Georgetown and BC and rejected from UChicago. However, I got into Northwestern and Vanderbilt so I do still have a tiiiiiny hope.

Good luck you guys! I know how you all feel; I was waitlisted at Georgetown and Wellesley (really wanted to go to both). I did visit Georgetown again today though…hopefully that’ll help? We’ll see. REALLY hoping for Cornell ILR. Didn’t apply to a second school there because ILR is absolutely perfect and I can’t deal with going to Cornell but another school within it other than ILR. blehhh tomorrow we’ll know!

Got in Wash U and NYU, still really want Cornell, do not think I have a chance!

I definitely know the feeling, I’ve been waitlisted at Vassar College, William and Mary, and Johns Hopkins so far… I hate waitlisting.

However, I got into Northwestern (in addition to University of Maryland and Boston U).

Sooo I have NO idea what to expect from Cornell After all these waitlists I’m losing hope.

Rejected from MIT, Stanford, Chicago, Johns Hopkins, Tufts. Waitlisted at Carnegie Mellon.

Reallllllly hoping for Cornell. I really loved it up there and seriously debated applying ED. Average stats and decent essays, but I had a really long interview (about an hour and a half), so I’m hoping that will do me some good and maybe I can get in? CAS by the way, no second choice (physics all the way :)).

so did cornell work out for anyone?

I got in…

this is an incredibly late response but perhaps for future people who see this thread, I did end up getting into Cornell. haha. so johns hopkins, william and mary, and vassar can suck it!

^^^^^

Lol I was just reading this thread wondering how people were getting their rejections/acceptances so early until I saw your post date.

HONORLIONS
+1, I was confused for a while too I was just wondering, where else do people for whom Cornell is #1 choice apply? I, for example, applied EA to my state school and also going to apply to RPI and RIT (as financial safety, I heard they have good need-based aid).
