Rejection letter but able to log onto admitted students page?!

i checked my decision this afternoon on the link brown told us to go to (it was in an email sent a while back). i checked…definitely a rejection letter.

then about half an hour ago, i thought, hahaha, wouldnt it be fun if i could log onto the admitted students page? and i was able to log on! could this be a mistake?

the page i logged onto was this: <a href=“Undergraduate Admission | Brown University”>Undergraduate Admission | Brown University

and there’s some text that says, “Now that you’ve been admitted into Brown…”

Sigh I was rejected too. Seeing that made me sad. A princess? Seriously? No wonder I didn't get in...

just because you can access the site it doesn't mean you can log in. everyone who knows the URL can access this site. if you were accepted you could login, using your name and email adress to access the admitted students platform.

Anyone can log in, using whatever made-up name and e-mail you choose. It works no matter what, Rister - try it!

:-)
