How are the relationships between Pomona students and students at the other 5 C's? I've heard some about Pomona being a little elitist, but I didn't get that vibe while I was there. Any comments from current students?

You're probably best off asking the other schools that question too, aresenal. Chances are a CMC student will view it differently from a Pomona student.

Here's an interesting article I just ran into regarding the issue:

very interesting indeed...didn't know there was so much bad blood!

In my experience, there isn't that much bad blood. There certainly is some, much of it centered around sports and rowdy drunk fans. I have friends at each of the other colleges. I did not appreciate the fact that Pomona students were supposed to be excluded from last week's party but I and my other Sagehens took a chance, went up to HMC, and were allowed in with a Pomona ID. So I hold no lasting ill will.

basically, CMC is bitter they don't get taken seriously, cuz they're conservative and they're not as selective/good as pomona and HMC (although i will admit, pomona does sometimes egg this on when CMC gets uppity), scripps girls really are nice and NOT slty, and pitzer is the *.

add note: this is all determined by a couple parties at the beginning of the year where jocks from respective schools start yelling at each other and fighting.
