Release of May SAT Scores (May 2nd)

Sorry for asking a whole 5 days early but I have question.

When do the scores of the May 2nd test come out exactly time wise? (1AM Eastern?)

I know they come out May 21st.

cb says 8am but they usually come out at 5am(eastern)

and it’s always 5am on the dot =D

Thats 11 PM my time on May 20th.

I’m going to be very anxious that day.

lol a sophomore praying for 750 on Chem( It should have a gigantic curve due to being abnormally one of the hardest ever administered. I’m retaking it this June anyway for a 770+ score, but it would be nice to have a 750 score as a reinforcement incase anything goes wrong during the June exam, sigh hopefully not.

I just checked under My Scores and found that the red text that said, “The online score report for the May 2 SAT will be posted here at 8am May 21,” was missing. However, my scores have not been posted yet. Anyone know what this means?

It means that it will be posted in two days (the 21st)

^haahahah. Yep. May 21st.

Perhaps you didn’t read my post carefully enough. I said the text was at one time present but is now missing. Since I have not received my scores yet I am curious about the significance of this.

Metalogician,
I had the same thing happen to me. I am sure it’s fine. I keep logging in to see if somehow its up early. When i registered for the test (on March 14th), I swear it said scores would be up May 19th. When I went back two weeks ago, it said May 21st. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

So who else is excited/nervous for their scores?

For seem reason I thought this too, I was going to look at my scores yesterday but it said wait until 21.

Let’s just say, I could either have a very good birthday or a very bad birthday tomorrow. :(

sometimes 12:00

Good luck everyone! Zungra, I hope your birthday is great and I’m sure if you care this much about your scores then you have nothing to worry about.
Remember everyone that scores don’t define you. I keep reminding myself of this but if my scores are bad I will still be quite upset.

they are out now scores for the May SAT

Woohoo! My overall score from the March SAT remained mostly the same, but look at the difference in the Math score!

March '09

 • Critical Reading: 740
 • Math: 680
 • Writing: 780

May '09

 • Critical Reading: 740
 • Math: 800
 • Writing: 680

I really hope my colleges super-score. If you combine all my highest sections, I can’t get any higher than that.

Any thoughts on whether I should retake the SAT to get all ‘‘top’’ scores into a single sitting?

Nice.

My first SAT:

May '09

 • Critical Reading: 720
 • Math: 800
 • Writing: 770

Can anybody give me some feedback on what colleges would accept this with a 3.3 or a 3.5 GPA?

My first SAT too.
Critical Reading - 730
Writing - 740
Math - 800
= 2270

Yeah, I’m not taking it again. I don’t know what the curve was, since I am not sure how much I got wrong yet. But I am happy that my SAT is over. Now just the ACT and SAT Subject Tests and then I am done with my college entrance exams!

My d’s first SAT sitting and not sure if anyone has suggestions on how to improve the Math score. She would love to get in to Brandeis, but she’ll have to bring math score up.
She got CR 700, W 710 & M 640 = 2050 Her GPA unweighted is 95.8, weighted 4.0

She’s a member of NHS, will have two graduation diplomas (attends Hebrew/Prozdor High School also with 3.8 GPA- so takes 10-12 total academic courses a semester) and has won some awards for her writing/poetry. Is also about 2/3 done with a fantasy novel she’s been writing over the past two years (and it’s really good!). WOuld love her to get this published but she hasn’t had much time to write.

She’s taking ACT’s in a couple of weeks. Do colleges really accept ACT’s as opposed to SAT’s or do they want both?

Thanks - she’s a Junior so she can take again!

Also, she’s planning on such a rigorous schedule next year - 3 AP’s, 2 honors and an intenstive speech/debate class – I thought Senior year was time to take it a LITTLE bit easy? Times sure have changed since I was in High school. I can’t believe how competitive it is now!! Glad I’m not doing it again!

Any suggestions are appreciated!
