i know that usd is a catholic school, but can anyone that goes there or went there tell me how much religion plays a part of day to day life? is there a strong catholic presence?

anyone? .......

Catholic and non-denominational programs are available, some students partake , others don't. There is strictness with drinking on campus and birth control is not available in their health services due to their Catholic affiliation (there are free clinics in San Diego for that however)
Other then that there is a requirement for 3 theology classes as part of the core curriculum. It is very different from schools such as Pepperdine where services are required for everyone. Also the school has time off at Easter as well as a seperate spring break. That is all I can think off at the moment, hope it helps!

thank you very much, arizonamom!
