Religion On common app essay??

<p>So my topic was the one where it says "describe a place important to you and explain why its important and has meaning"</p>

<p>The only problem is my "place" gives away my religion so should i just stick with my place even though it tells the reader my religion or should i just change the name of my place and still write the same essay with just a fabricated name?</p>

<p>I’m referencing my religion in one of my essays. Then again, colleges will know my religion already because I listed 4 religious groups on my activities section. Colleges really shouldn’t reject you for your religion as long as you are respectful.</p>

<p>It doesn’t matter to colleges what your religion is, so go ahead and tell your story.</p>
