Do you know how strong the religious atmospheres in the colleges below are?

I want to go to not religious college or University.

So, please tell me about it if you know.

Most of those schools are not known for having a strong religious presence. In fact, at most of those colleges, religion is almost completely non-existant.

Washington and Lee is probably the only school on that list that has a significant religious atmosphere, but even that is no longer as pronounced as it once was.

There would be religious students enrolled, but none of these schools has any impactful relationship to a denomination as far as I know. I believe that Richmond was originally Baptist, but its website makes no mention of that now.

Wesleyan, by virtue of its name, suggests that it has a Methodist connection but it is certainly not a “religious” type place. Many schools that have a Methodist connection are pretty liberal and secular—Boston University, American University and Duke–just to name a few.

Most of these schools aren’t very religious. I don’t think very many LACs are. They might tend towards a certain religion, like Methodism or Quaker, but they certainly aren’t like other super-religious schools (cough Notre Dame cough)
