Repeat class not showing up as repeat on transcript?

Way back in 2006 I failed an Astronomy class at Orange Coast College. Back then it was known as Astronomy A100: Elementary Astronomy.

I repeated Astronomy A100 and earned an 'A', but they changed the name to "Introduction to Astronomy". It's still Astronomy A100, but on my transcript it isn't showing up as a repeat. I even compared the course catalog descriptions from 2006 and from the current 2012-2013 one and the same exact descriptions are there for both years.

I plan on getting this cleared up tomorrow morning, but could you guys see any way that this doesn't get listed as a repeat? I would find that to be completely unfair.

**@Larinaga: Hey! On your unofficial transcript do you see a “E” by the 2006 course and do you see a “I” by the 2012 course? Let me know! Happy Halloween!

I don’t. :frowning: I do see it for the other repeated courses that I’ve passed, but not for the Astronomy course. It literally is the same class, just with a different name. Same course number and same professor, too! Haha. I’ll ask about it tomorrow morning. I’m going to give them hell if they don’t count it as a repeat. Then I’ll get AR on that ‘F’.

I took care of it. Submitted one of those fancy “petition to exclude a substandard grade” forms. ;)

** I was just about to say to fill out the petition form! YAAY! :)**
