Reporting AMC Scores?

my scores (in 9th) were quite close to the aime cutoff (still bitter ab it), so i’m debating on reporting them.

after i submit the application, do they require (or have access too) my “official” form (like the sat?) that contains all my scores (or can i select which ones I want to show)? i’m saying this because there was a significant drop from my 9th to 10th grade score, and my 11th grade score 12a score was significantly better than 12b (i got like a 60 on b)…that’s why i don’t want them to see the whole thing lol. ik my scores itself are insignificant enough anyways (as i didn’t even make it into aime) so i doubt it would make a difference, but i just don’t want them to think i got dumber since freshman year or smthng but also want to show that i took the time to take the test and did decent on it one time through.

so…do colleges verify and check all your amc scores if you report one? is it worth leaving it blank if i didn’t qualify for aime?

thank you!

No, they’re not going to contact MAA and research your AMC test history. Unless you’re claiming to be an MOP participant or USAMO medalist, they’re pretty much going to accept what you enter on your application. Being near AIME cutoff’s in 9th is an accomplishment that I would probably put on an application.

Thank you! I’ll put them in!
