Reporting SAT IIs - interesting situation

I have three SAT II scores: a high Lit score, a "good" math score (maybe not for all ccers haha) and a 640 in German. I was thinking I wouldn't report the German score, but I'm pretty sure my German teacher mentioned in my recommendation that I scored well enough on my German SAT II to test out of a year of German. What would colleges think if I did/didn't report it?

How many years did you take of German? AP? Honors?

If you took German H for two years and got a 640, I think it’s acceptable to include it in the rec. If you’ve been taken German all of high school, or are taking AP German it probably is best you don’t send it.

However, I think you’re better off leaving the score out. If colleges do notice (which is unlikely to begin with), they’ll probably just assume it was a placement test and not a collegeboard issued SAT2 (i.e. your district took a released test and tested you themselves).

Mosy schools only require two. Send your highest two. once you are in, you can send the German score if you learn that it will help you get placed in an advanced class.

I had taken like 3 semesters at a community college

The thing is, she already submitted the rec

…^that’s why I asked. That’s the problem. I haven’t submitted scores (except to one school), but my teacher submitted a rec that mentioned my score.
