<p>^ You really think it’s a coincidence that the most educated people in our society are often liberal? Go to any decent college in America and most of the PhD’s will be liberals, professors usually are. not saying there aren’t tons of intelligent conservatives as well, but saying all Dems are stupid makes you look dumb. as for Libertarians, i’m afraid they won’t be taken seriously for a while, which is kind of unfortunate.</p>

<p>Isn’t Ron Paul a Republican? I know he represents the Libertarian party, but he’s also a republican…unless i’m way off here?</p>

<p>He’s a republican because if he was in the libertarian party, he wouldn’t get the attention. Just because he’s a republican doesn’t mean he holds the ideals of the average republican.</p>

<p>As a moderate, I think this discussion is kind of stupid, because both sides have no shortage of intellectuals and beautiful people.</p>

<p>Okay, that’s a lie. But only if the guy is so far opposite my political views we would never be able to hold any sort of conversation. </p>

<p>I do tend to lean more towards liberal guys, mostly because I am liberal myself. But a few of my ex’s have been conservative, and though we obviously didn’t always agree, they were (usually) intelligent and didn’t let it get in the way of the relationship.</p>
