Reputable, prestigious colleges on a beach?

UMiami, UCSB, UCSD, Pepperdine are the only top 50 schools that are less than a mile from the beach. All are great schools.

<p>Except that Pepperdine isn’t in the US News top 50. And U Miami is more than a mile from the beach. I think the part about UCSB and UCSD is pretty accurate, though.</p>
