Hi all,
I’m planning to transfer, and am applying to multiple universities and all of them obviously would require secondary transcripts.
I’m doing my application via Common App, and they have those documents that have to be emailed physically (via mail). In this case, does my high school send the documents, or would I personally have to send the documents myself?
Please advise.
Thank you!
No, the transcripts have to be official copies and sent from your HS registrar.
You won’t send the transcripts yourself. Your high school will send off official transcripts (not unofficial) to the colleges via mail. At my high school, students fill out transcript request forms with the colleges you want the transcripts to be sent off to. The guidance counselors take care of the rest. I would ask your guidance counselor, he/she would know exactly what to do.
