I just finished my freshman year so I haven't officially declared or taken any of my courses for my major (except calc 3 counts), but the pre reqs like organic chemistry are challenging but really good classes. I plan on going to med school and doing research (possibly combined MD,PhD), and MDCB is the concentration geared more towards people wanting to go into research. Most pre meds from what i gather do biology, which is not as many credits as MDCB and not as intensive, but still a credible major, anthropology-zoology, or biopsychology and cognitive sciences.
