Requirements

I am an international student from India. I have a perfect GPA and also have good extracurricular activities like in sports(National Level), research work etc. My family income is $15000. How much SAT score do I need to get admission in Ivy League universities?

probably near perfect definitely 1450 or more, and I think some subject tests

The general good cutoff that most posters say on here that will make you “safe” is 1500+, plus 2 SAT IIs of 700+.

As an international, if you need aid that will hurt your chances except at the few American universities that are need-blind for internationals. You also face a lower admission rate than domestic students.

SAFE with 1500+ ??? Very poor terminology. Correct would be “possible.” I have a kid with those stats who was denied by all his ivy applications. And we were not particularly surprised. Please don’t give info that is misleading.

I know many kids with above 1550, NMF with near perfect GPAs and decent run of the mill type ECs who got denied from UCLA and UC Berkeley and all Ivies. All ORMs though. I agree with @donnaleighg poster.

Nobody is “safe” with any stats for Ivies or Ivy types anywhere (in or out of states)!
