Hello, I am a student who plans to enroll at BC next year. Unfortunately, after taking a calculus AP exam, I do not feel confident at all with my possible score. The teacher, given that it was her first year, did not go in depth enough. I overestimated my capabilities and am extremely disappointed with my performance. I am fearing the worst, maybe as low as a score of 2. Will one or maybe two very low AP scores cause BC to rescind their offer of admission? My grades are as good, maybe even better, as those on my mid-year report. One or two very low AP scores shouldn’t do too much harm, right?
Don’t worry about it. Just don’t submit it. At this point, AP scores are used by the student to AP-out of courses. A bad AP score isn’t helpful to you in this respect, nothing more. You can check on the BC website to see the AP exams and scores you can use to AP-out of certain courses. So, nothing to fret about here. Have a great time at BC, congrats!
