Rescinded

Hi,
I was wondering how low my grades would have to drop to be rescinded? I got straight A's almost all through high school.

Would it be okay if I went from straight A's to straight B's hypothetically.? that would not get me rescinded right..

I'm not trying to get bad grades, but I dont want to stress too much about my grades either.

Yes, you would be OK with Bs.

You can get bs and cs

dont get and Ds or an exorbitant amount of Cs.

Haha, you really have to mess up to get rescinded, don’t worry. Or should you…?

I know someone here who failed classes senior year but I wouldnt risk it

My final semester in high school was not the best, actually my worst lol, I got a D and a C and they sent me a warning e-mail about my academic performance and scared the s*it out of me, but I’m still here lol. Don’t be like me though, enjoy senior year! :)

Here’s the e-mail:

“An Important Message from Cornell University”

Dear jadore317,

I hope your summer is going well and that you are preparing for the start of your undergraduate career at Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS).

I recently received your final transcript and was concerned by the decline in your grades. Admission to CALS is highly selective, and enrolling students are expected to maintain a high standard of academic performance throughout senior year in preparation for Cornell’s rigorous curriculum.

We take pride in the success of our students and want to see you have a strong undergraduate career. Your success here, in large part, will be determined by your dedication and hard work. I hope that you will arrive on campus motivated to do your very best. I encourage you to visit the Learning Strategies Center web site at [Cornell Learning Strategies Center](http://lsc.sas.cornell.edu) to view the support that will be available to you here at Cornell.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the CALS Admissions Office at 607-255-2036, CALS Student Services at 607-255-2257, or your faculty advisor.

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and I look forward to seeing you during Cornell orientation in the fall.

Sincerely,

Pamela Tan
