Rescinding Admission to Central Connecticut State University

How bad do you have to mess up to get your admissions revoked from Central Connecticut State University. I got 2 Ds but still maintain a good grade average and still take good classes. Do i stand a chance to getting revoked?

You’ve posted five times about the same thing and gotten five responses. No one knows for sure, but yes, if you’ve got anything below a C, rescinding is a possibility. Another poster stated that multiple Ds is a pattern that doesn’t look good, and he’s right - if you’re getting Ds in high school classes as a senior, that doesn’t bode well for college-level work next year.

Are these Ds in year-long classes? If yes, you’ve definitely got time to bring them up. Sit down and talk with your teachers about why your grades are so low and what you can do to do better over the course of the next semester. Find out what resources are available to you - tutoring, extra study resources, etc.

If they’re not in year-long classes, talk to your teachers anyway, and do what you can to improve through the rest of the semester and on the final assessments. Even if you can’t bring up your final grade very much, you have a chance to find out what your weaknesses are - studying for tests, writing papers, reading comprehension - and how you can improve them. That will help you in the future.
