Research Supplement

Hi all,

Can't seem to figure out if Cornell wants a Research Supplement / Abstract / Full Project Report.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

I have the same question. I called the admissions office today asking whether I could send in my ‘research abstract’ but they didn’t say whether I could send more. Are you applying to engineering?

Yep, am applying to Engineering. How do we send it in if we do want to send it? Can we do electronic?

I have the same problem.
@Yulesh: Can we send 1-2 research abstracts?

Or would they prefer a summary instead that the adcoms could actually understand? Guess I’ll be making some calls tomorrow…

@TheHaro When I asked them can I ‘mail in my supplement’ they said “yes or email it to us” so I think either way is fine.
@USApplicant No idea but I don’t think it would hurt you
Is everyone applying to engineering basically sending in a research supplement lol? I hope it’s able to still stand out among other applicants.

So do we need to email them whole research papers or just a brief writeup?

I’m sending a research supplement of each of my 3 projects and a description of my research skills/competitions I’ve entered.
