<p>After an architecture internship fell through, I've been contemplating whether or not I should email some professors about research opportunities over the summer. Some of my friends recently emailed science/engineering professors at our local university and got internships. I would like to do the same, but I'm not sure how to word my request. Would an internship with an architecture or art history professor make sense? I know many of them do conduct a lot of research, but I'm not sure if I would be useful to them or not. Should I try anyways?</p>
