Currently a NMF freshman at OU. I’m debating between getting an apartment (have a few different friends who would like to room with me) or living in the newly built residential colleges next year (the girl I want to room with the most is doing that).

The main issue for me is the price of residential colleges and the mandatory meal plans which are only usable in the residential buildings. What are some of the glaring pros and cons of each?

No one will really have that much insight on these, seeing as how they’re still under construction. They sound like a cool idea, but I have no idea what it would actually be like to live there and what rules/regulations will be put in place.

I thought were a good idea but my DD didn’t like them because she wants a kitchen and they are expensive. She plans to move into an apartment next year.
