NYU tisch school of drama says use the proper format for a performing arts resume. However, as this resume is part of your college application, it may be longer than one side of a page.

So, my regular resume consist of SUMMARY QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND INTERESTS. I just have to add my PERFORMING ARTS EXPERIENCE with all of them? Cause I am a little confusing with this. Can anyone help me? What should go first and last in my resume?

Thanks a lot:)))))

I did two separate resum

They will not need all the info from your regular application resume for the artistic review.

Do a search for “sample resumes” on the Tisch Drama website and that will help you craft a performing arts resume. If you can, keep it to one page but it CAN be more than that if necessary for all your performance related training, skills and roles because it is for college.

chelsea_girl, thanks for sharing it with me:)) So, for theatrical resum

Oh I don’t think you need that bit on your resum

chelsea_girl, thanks a lot for ur help. U helped me a lot:)
So,first I wrote PERFORMING ARTS EXPERIENCE-I include 7 plays with characters that I played and where these plays were produced, then I wrote ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE-Just one additional experience, next I wrote EDUCATION, then I wrote SKILLS and finally I wrote INTERESTS.
So, you think it’s enough for my theatrical resum

That sounds great! Colleges can for the most part understand that not every student auditioning has much experience in resum

chelsea_girl, thank you so much:) U the best:)
