<p>What type of format is the resume supposed to be written in? Is it just like a list of credentials and activities like the ones on all the chances threads here on this site or should it be more of an essay format where you write about each activity and what it means to you?</p>
<p>the goal of a resume is to quickly and clearly express the activities in which you participated and the accomplishments you accumulated while partaking in said activity. save the implication of the activity for an essay, the truth is most adcoms will skim resumes so dont waste their time by having three sentences that are close to meaningless on the piece of paper. short and sweet is definitely the way to go. i think i formatted my ec's pretty well, if you;'d like to see how i organized pm me or post here.</p>
<p>Just use Microsoft Word's table function and use the same categories as the application (name of activity, positions held, hours/week, wks/yr, grades participated). Make sure you put your name, school and birthdate on each sheet and attach to the application using a paper clip only. </p>
<p>It is as easy as that. I did that with all of my apps and experienced no problems.</p>
