<p>I’m not quite sure if you can cancel the score and have it completely removed from your record as if it wasn’t there. I would say no, similar to the SAT. But I’m not 100% sure. As far as retaking the same exam, you can take it as many times as you want. Of course the only disadvantage is that it is only offered in May once a year. I wouldn’t worry much about the old score anyway if you study and get a better score the next time. Colleges like to see improvement, and retaking an AP certainly shows drive and motivation to improve, considering the circumstances of the AP test vs. an SAT Subject Test. </p>
