I can’t believe you are so sure that you are getting into Rutgers. Sure rutgers in Camden or Newark you have a shot but still nothing like what you said. If you are looking at new Brunswick you better not use it as a safety. Rutgers is a top school that isn’t so easy to get into. If your counselor said it should be a safety then he or she should be fired for such poor advising. If I were you I would say something like Kean would be your safety.

I’m not using it as a safety

88, do yourself a favor and apply to Drexel EA- you’ll get in, and the pressure will be off. You can still apply to the other places.

70% of NJ gets into Rutgers. It is a safety for OP. People in my school with a 1500 SAT get in. At the Info session they said avg SAT is 1690-2000. It probably is hard for OOS, but not for IS. Sure for pharmacy it is much harder, but I think OP meant arts and sciences.

Thanks guys for the info. I was going to put down soccer because it is a hobby and my team is ranked number 27 in the state and I dedicate several hours and weekends to this sport.

PS Rutgers isn’t my safety it is one of my matches.

Bump…

The ranking of your high school soccer team means nothing if you only played freshman year. It would mean something if you were on varsity for several years. Playing freshman soccer generally equates to less commitment than jv and varsity.

The ranking and stuff is for my regular club team. My high school team sucks so I quit to dedicate my time to a better team (my travel club team)
