Revised application deadline applicable to ALL applicants?

A recent email from Georgetown announced, “Since January 10th falls on a Sunday this year, we will accept applications through Monday, January 11th.” I just want to clarify in case I’m misinterpreting this. Even if one doesn’t observe a religious “day of rest” on Sunday, is the revised Monday deadline still relevant? Or do you have to provide some proof of your inability to turn in the application that day for religious reasons?
Dumb questions, I know, but I’d really appreciate any insight. Additionally (again, just to make absolutely certain), the official deadline would be before midnight ON the day the application is due, not the day before, right? Georgetown is my dream school and I’m psyching myself out a little to make sure I get ALL the details right and utilize ALL my available time, haha.

Bump, haha. Pleeeease answer.

Yes, I’m sure this applies to everyone. College application deadlines aren’t nearly as strict as you think anyway.
