Ringling vs SCAD?

I just found out yesterday that I got accepted into Ringling. I’m still waiting on a response to SCAD but I have a feeling I might’ve gotten in. I don’t know which to choose in the event I do get accepted to SCAD. I’m going for a degree in video game design. Both Schools are really good. I’m drawn to ringling because of the career opportunities and rigour; Im drawn to SCAD because of the lower cost, (I know this is shallow but it’s also really pretty.), it also feels familiar since a few of my friends go there and there’s just a lot more material for me to go off of in terms of what the campus is like. Part of my debacle is because I didn’t believe I would even be accepted into Ringling, to be honest I forgot I even applied. I felt that it was an unrealistic goal but now it’s here and I don’t even know what to do with it. The other part of it is the fact that ringling is so expensive and I dont have much scholarship money. (I do have a decent amount of money saved up. But my parents are by no means well endowed or rich.) Im visiting both schools over spring break so hopefully that will help my decision. Any advice about the schools wold be great!

When you compare prices between the two be sure to include housing and fees (not only tuition) A quick look on a couple sites show the difference is only about 2-3K for a year when you include room and board.

Also make sure that the program at SCAD is doable in 4 years (their costs were based on 150 hours but your program is 180 hours).

This link is pretty helpful: shows 2016-17 cost of attendance assuming a full course load (15 hours per quarter) for three quarters.
