I'm looking to take the LSATs next June, so I need to start preparing soon. Does anyone have any advice about where to start? Good prep books, when to take a course, etc.?

Also- anyone have any information about which top law programs offer a lot of merit scholarships?

Official LSAT Test Prep workbooks (they have 4 sections each but the actual test will have 5). Do as many of these as you possibly can. Practice is the best way to score well and consistently higher.

PowerScore Bibles (There are three of these – for each kind of section on the LSAT). I have friends that swear by them (LSAT scores ranging between 171-177 based on self study and reading PowerScore as well as other books).

I’m in the midst of studying for the LSAT now myself.

Thanks so much! I’ll definitely get those and start now.
