So I got an email from RMU to do a fast trak application and before I submit it I would like to know that this isn’t binding that it is non-binding and then come fall I can still apply to other colleges and consider them for my future higher education
My daughter also received for the fast track invitation and hers specifically says that it is nonbinding. Think of it as rolling admission and not having to pay an application fee.
The verbiage from her email with her fast track application info says:
“Plus, we’ll follow up with an admission decision (nonbinding) within 10 days of receiving your supporting materials (your high school transcript[s] and test scores)!”
She plans to apply once she has her junior grades in. She has at least 5 other schools she plans to apply to laster this summer/fall. RMU is one of her top choices and we figure an early application might have better chances for scholarship money so as soon as she has her junior grades, she’ll be applying. Right now she doesn’t have a junior year GPA as school recently finished and final grades haven’t been posted, so no point for her applying yet!
They are just using this a a recruiting tool…it is good to apply early and hopefully get an acceptance in the bag.
Make sure this is the right type of school for yo.
It has an 80% acceptance rate so you will likely get in.
