Hi, I just got the 2005 version (is that the latest?) of Rocket Review Revolution from my library and was wondering how I should use the book. From the threads I've read on here, it seems that the majority suggested this book for Critical Reading purposes only. Is it worth to use the book for the other two sections or are they just not that good? I ask this because most people on here seem to only use Grubers for their math section while completely avoiding the other two sections.

I think the Math section is well written too. It shouldn’t take that long to read through the math section, so you’d might as well read the advice and work through the math skills checklist.

^ Thanks for the quick reply, I guess I’ll go through the math section as well. So what are your thoughts about the Writing section of the book? Is it also worth the time to go through? The book suggests for the reader to take several days of in-depth review, rather than just one day trying to take everything in. I don’t want to use that advise and waste maybe a week reviewing something that might not be that beneficial.

There’s a tendency to believe that you should read everything carefully and in order. I think that you can study more effectively by learning to browse through pages/sections. Get an overview of what’s covered in each section first by flipping through and looking at headings. Then skim through the stuff you already know, but go through the pages with new info or what you find most useful with a fine toothed comb. Let it digest and you may even go back and read those pages over again on another day. No book is 100% miraculous and perfect, even RR.
