RocketReview's Advice on Essay Writing?

<p>How good is it? It declares that historical and literary examples are all that should really be used, and that personal should almost never be used, which seems to completely contradict Grammatix. I tend to disagree with that. Shouldn't personal and scholarly be viewed equally to avoid bias (someone from a prominent private school might be able to quote literary examples from Hamlet, but someone from a urban and underfunded/poor quality school may not have the experience)? Also, is it just me or are Adam Robinson's sample essays a little pretentious and implausible given the alotted amount of time? Not even the collegeboard sample essays that I have studied are like that.</p>

<p>Oh, and can someone post whether or not RR's online scoring is credible?</p>
