Rolling admissions??

Does the University of Wisconsin Madison have rolling decision or early action??
Can someone explain the November 1 deadline

It’s all on the website (link below).

Apply by Nov 2 and get a decision by Jan 31 of admit, deny, or postpone.

Rolling admissions. No early action as with some schools.

is it possible that I can expect to hear back before January 31 then if they are rolling

You can’t expect to hear back before January 31.

What are your stats and state of residence?

SAT
math- 590
reading-610
writing 630

GPA
4.6 out of 5.0
3.8 out of 4.0

In the National Honors Society, Varsity Soccer 2 years JV, 2 years (captain one of those years), started a club, ski club, have worked since 10th grade, 1 college credit from NYU over the summer, and summer internship in New York last summer

The 1200 SAT score is equivalent to a 26 ACT which is in the bottom 25 percentile of admitted students.

For a non-Wisconsin resident you may be denied or postponed by January 31. If you are postponed then you would get a deny, admit or waitlist result by March 31.
