I got the interview notification for McDonald’s Hacer
My son got a call this morning (MI) that he’s a finalist (RMHC Scholar) and needs to schedule an interview.
Found out that in our area there are around 33 finalists and 10 will get the scholarship.
Wow those are good odds @mi5kids ! Good lick to your son! Hacer is 11 national finalists and 4 winners so good odds as well for me I guess 
need to schedule interviews as well.
Did anyone from the east coast esp. NYC hear back
I heard back asking me to send them my transcripts and FAFSA last week. So what does that mean? I haven’t been asked to interview or anything but they asked me for that information. I’m asking because I see that you guys have been selected already. How is it possible if for me they are still evaluating?
@Aurelio97 each local organization and national groups have their own way of doing things! The process varies by the charity house in charge of your area. Don’t worry ! They’re probably still evaluating your app!
If you’re in North Carolina, I was told by a rep that the decision notification has been pushed back until the end of May due to a considerably large applicant pool. I applied for the African American Future Achievers.

@Bryantasticc I heard from the Los Angeles area that I was named a scholar about a week and a half ago, by phone call. They didn’t say an the monetary amount.
