<p>a small amount of people have singles first year, but other than that, there are no suites with like 3 and 4 people.</p>
<p>Most freshmen live in doubles. Cook and Wonnacott Commons freshmen live in Battel, an all-freshmen building. Brainerd freshies all live in Stewart. I'm pretty sure that most Atwater freshmen live in Allen. There are a couple of suites in Ross, I think in Miliken. Your housing assignment is completely random.</p>
<p>As for sophomore housing, it really depends on how you do in the housing lottery in the spring. You have many different options, from a single, a suite, having a "sinkmate," or even living in one of the specialty houses, like a social house or a language house. Housing is really varied at Middlebury, but you'll always be happy with wherever you end up.</p>
