Rosenthal Suites?

My D will be a soph. living in an 8 person Rosenthal suite in the fall, sharing a private bathroom with three other girls and a common area with the other 4 person side of the suite. She has never seen the inside of a “Rosie” and so I am unsure if she will need anything different from last year. Does anyone know anything about these spaces?

From basics like whether we need to bring a shower curtain (don’t even know if it is a shower or a tub) or bathroom rugs to whether she needs floor lamps or if there is room for extra furniture in the common area.

Any information would be appreciated!

My daughter lived in Rosenthal suites several years ago. I am pretty sure that she and her friends did buy bathroom rugs and their own shower curtain. A shower curtain was supplied but no bathroom rugs. The common area is pretty large-not certain about lamps.

Hey! I am also a rising sophomore who will be living in Rosenthal North. The suites are really fantastic…well compared to what they put us in this last year. If your daughter has the single room she will probably have about 100 square feet of room to work with and about 200 in the double. I know I will not be bringing much more than what I brought up to Brandeis this last year. I believe the bathroom does come with a shower curtain but I know I will switch it out for something more colorful…other than that I think you have to supply your own rugs/lamps/etc.

I know that the common room does come with a few basic couches and chairs but not much more than that.

You can actually look up the layout here:
