RPI vs BU vs BC vs UMASS Amherst

So I’m still deciding between these four schools. I would like to dual (or double if need be) major in economics and CS. These are my top four unless I get accepted off the waitlist at a few of my reach schools.

At RPI I’ve been accepted for CS and I have the medal ($30k a year)
BC and BU I’ve been accepted for econ in their school of arts and sciences, but I don’t have very much aid.
UMASS is definitely the cheapest option, (around $27k a year) and I’ve been accepted into the Isenberg school, but for finance.

Is a dual/double major possible in these schools. Also, how are the networking/recruiting opportunities in these schools?

I’m not a big partyer so Greek life isn’t important to me, however, social life at school does play an important role for me. How is it at each school?

I’ve heard that the social life at RPI is not very active and the overall student body has a very STEM oriented focus. Not sure if this is something you care about, but RPI also has about a 2:1 male to female ratio as well.

Getting a CS major at Massachusetts will be difficult. Isenberg is fantastic on its own.

You can minor in finance at BC. But getting into the b school is next to impossible. The Econ track is fantastic. The cs dept isn’t as good as rpi or maschusetts but they’ve put a lot resources into sciences and CS lately. Very interesting majors and minors in the new integrated sciences school. Engineering as well. No Greek life but fun. Best sports.

Rpi has really clamped down on Greek life as well. They have a new arch program requirement that students and parents don’t seem to like as much.

If you are pure CS. I would choose RPI unless you want to take a chance of getting the opportunity at Massachusetts.

For finance and economics in would choose BC.

Cost included you might find UMA your best bet.
