So yeah for science class we need to make this thing where you like have to eventually make juice come out of an orange. Like have a marble go down a ramp, hit 15 dominoes, go down another ramp, etc. I need some ideas. I suck at these things. Links would be great, too! Thanks.

What science are you taking, because it seems irrelevant to some classes.

It's just eighth grade science. I don't have any advanced courses at my school, so basically all the middle school classes are on the same level, except for math. There's an Algebra class, which I'm in, and about 1/4 of the grade, and the remaining 75% are in basic math.

You have almost 2k posts and you're in 8th grade...

That's amazing.

That's amazing.

Oh man, I had to do that for physics last year, only we had to flip a light switch. I'd recommend a lever with a REALLY heavy weight on one end, and something to prop it up level on the other. Make some mechanism for the propping-thing to fall, thus releasing the lever. All you gotta do is put the orange under the weighted half. Maybe some spiky nails on the underside of that would help in getting juice out, too...

Confusing... lol.

Yeah, I'm having a lot of trouble with this project.

Make an original idea, don't use other people's. It improves your imagination which is greatly needed in our world or cold logic and practical material.

I'd just take a big lever with a string that has a giant weight attached to the end. Then place the orange under it and let go of the string . . . SPLAT!

All the juice then gets smooshed out in a very violent fashion!

rube goldberg project is stupid. basically just make lots of dominos with levers and **** and just in the end make a weight drop onto an orange.
