Rumor - Tipping cows

Okay this is really really random but there are several things that concern me about applying to Williams.

I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but do Williams students tip cows (meaning push them over so they can't get back up) ?

Are Williams students very sporty? I'm sure the answer to this is yes, but how gay-friendly are they then in conjunction?

Are Williams and Middlebury about the same location wise? (I visited Midd but not Williams)

Thanks!

LOL cow tipping… I haven’t heard of anyone who’s done it (mostly because the closest cows are a half hour outside of campus on Stone Hill), but who knows? It certainly isn’t a recreational sport.

Something like 40% of all students are varsity athletes, and most people like to do some sort of physical activity. I don’t know how the situation is are on specific teams, but the general attitude is pretty positive toward gays (at least I think so). There is a website for the Anything But Straight (LGBT athletes) group on campus: http://queer.williams.edu/?page_id=36

Midd is about 3 hours north of Williams.

half an hour? It takes about 10 minutes to walk there. It’s less than a mile…

Haha it takes a half hour (maybe more like 20 minutes) for me because I live in Dodd neighborhood.
